Tracking a shop’s daily income from payment notifications
When customers pay by bank app or wallet, the income arrives as dozens of notifications. How to turn them into a clear daily picture.

Why notifications get lost
When customers pay through a bank app or a mobile wallet, each payment arrives as a notification on the owner’s phone. By the end of a busy day there are dozens, from several apps, mixed with other messages. Adding them up by hand is slow, and it is easy to count one twice or miss one.
What a clear daily picture shows
- Total income today, next to yesterday and the same day last week.
- Income by payment method, so you know which one customers prefer.
- The busiest hours, to plan staff and stock.
- Payments that look duplicated, flagged before they reach the total.
Record each payment once
Each payment should be recorded once, with its amount, time and source. Duplicates happen when one payment triggers two notifications, or when a message is forwarded. A reference number, or the exact amount and time, is usually enough to catch them.
Where the data should live
Payment data is sensitive. Prefer tools that keep it on your own device or account, do not share it with third parties, and let you export or delete it.
Start simple
A week of totals by day and by payment method already answers most questions. Add stock or staff data only once the daily income view is trusted.
Where we can help
For merchants in Sudan, Ish’arak, our own app, does this with Bankak, Fawry and O-Cash notifications, processed on the phone. For other payment methods or larger businesses, we build the same kind of dashboard on your own data.
